In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the outside temperature sensor on a Toyota 4Runner, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure that the instrument cluster is off for safety.

Then, open the hood and locate the sensor, which is situated in front of the radiator, right next to the horn. Next, disconnect the connector, release the retaining clip using a screwdriver, and separate the sensor from the clip.

At this point, simply install the new part and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
