Radar Issue on a Toyota Corolla Hybrid

The Toyota Corolla Hybrid is equipped with a front radar integrated behind the Toyota logo on the grille. In conditions of snow, ice, or mud, the sensor may become obstructed, and the system will automatically deactivate. The display shows the message "System stopped, front radar sensor blocked – clean the sensor," accompanied by orange warning lights. The solution is simple: safely pull over, gently clean the Toyota logo on the grille, removing snow, ice, or dirt. Use a soft cloth or a plastic spatula to avoid scratching the surface. After cleaning, the system will automatically reactivate, and the warning lights will disappear. If the problem persists, there may be a fault with the sensor or wiring.
