Let's replace the damaged battery on a Toyota Yaris, see how it is disassembled. We open the car door and pull up the engine compartment opening lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift up the front bonnet, releasing the locking lever of the same with the fingers, then we put it in safety. We will find the battery at the top right; we disassemble the clamping pins of the battery terminals, then, we disassemble the metal bar. We remove the battery from the engine compartment and replace it with a new one (same voltage). We close the bonnet at the end of the maintenance. We test the new battery.
