Toyota Celica - Video tutorial

Model: Toyota Celica T230 - Years 1999-2006
Part: Air filter
Operation: How to insert a cold air vent

In the following video a new cold air intake is installed on a Toyota Celica. After lifting the car on the jack, open the hood and disconnect the battery. Remove the screws that lock the air mass measurement sensor, remove the blue sleeve that connects the battery to the air box and disconnect the two small connections near the tube. Now you will need to remove the old air system (which you will not need anymore). At this point you will need to insert the new AEM cold air intake. Use a piece of hose (about 10 cm) and connect it with a metal clamp to the inlet of the filter box and the other end must be positioned downwards so that it takes fresh air from under the car; the intervention must be carried out by entering laterally (near the left front wheel) therefore the wheel must be removed. Now he had to secure the cold air intake by screwing in the locking bolt on its side tab. Using cable ties, reconnect the air mass measurement sensor to the socket. Finally, attach a filter (like the one shown) to the piece of tube that collects the air from the lower part of the car.
