Let's see how to remove the aerial on a Toyota Corolla. After purchasing the new aerial (with the same size and thread as the original), unscrew the old one by hand until it is completely detached from its base. Take the new aerial and screw it (until the pin is fully tightened) into the plastic base on the roof of your car. Finally, check the proper functioning of the aerial by turning on the car radio and receiving channels. Install either an original aerial or a generic brand, short or long, based on your preferences.
