Alternator Belt Replacement on Toyota Yaris

Model: Toyota Yaris Xp10 - Years 1999-2005
Part: V-belt

Open the bonnet and prop it up with the support rod. Loosen the tensioner arm of the poly V belt by unscrewing the bolt as shown in the video. Now that the belt is no longer under tension, remove it. If you do not have a diagram handy, be careful to remember the routing of the belt (I suggest taking photos). Fit the new poly V alternator belt following the same path and tighten the tensioner arm by fully screwing the initially loosened bolt. As you can see, this is a simple operation that requires just a bit of attention or good memory.
