How to Change Engine Oil at Home

First, to keep everything clean and avoid leaving oil residues when finished, place newspapers under the car to cover the asphalt, preventing unnecessary hazards from oil stains. If you lie under the car, you can see the oil reservoir under the bonnet. To drain it, remove the drain valve, but first, place a plastic container under the reservoir to catch the oil that spills out. When the oil flow stops on its own, you can close the reservoir securely and then refill it with new oil. Make sure to tighten the reservoir with a spanner or pliers to prevent future oil leaks.
