This guide shows how to replace the interior door handle of the Toyota 4Runner N210. The first step is to remove the mirror finish panel and the plastic clip located under the removed panel. Detach the cover in the handle pocket and remove the visible screw. Take out the armrest cushion and remove the screw. Using a trim tool, pry at the edges of the panel and pull it out. Disconnect the electrical connectors and the lock cables, then remove the panel. By removing the Phillips screw that holds the handle assembly in place, you can take it out. At this point, reassemble the panel on the door and connect the electrical connectors and the handle cables. Check the proper operation of the lock.
