Once the starter motor is removed (disconnect the battery during removal), you can test its functionality on the bench using a booster or a battery: secure the motor in a vice, connect the earth to the vice, and power the relay with the positive. The overhaul of the starter motor often only requires replacing the brush holder, but it is good practice to disassemble it for cleaning (especially the commutator) and greasing during reassembly.

Clean the commutator with fine sandpaper and then use a small knife to clean the gap between each segment.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins.
