Toyota Yaris - Video tutorial
Model: Toyota Yaris
Xp10
- Years 1999-2005 In this tutorial we can see how to replace the timing belt in the Toyota Yaris, a simple operation that requires good manual skills. First of all, we wait for the engine to cool down, then open the bonnet, mark the current position of the alternator and slightly unscrew the relative bolt. We then move the device towards the rear of the vehicle, unhook the old belt and remove it from the lower pulley. Once this is done, we can insert the spare part, bring the alternator to its initial position and tighten the fixing bolt.

Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery. The latter must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and unscrewing the appropriate fixing bolts. In this way it will be possible to insert a new battery, properly fixing it and connecting it to the relative cables, covering everything with the casing. by ScegliAuto More videos
