To replace the front shock absorber on a Toyota Tacoma, lift the vehicle with a jack so that the wheel corresponding to the shock absorber being replaced is not in contact with the ground. This will allow you to loosen the bolts that secure the wheel, enabling its complete removal. You will then have access to the shock absorber at the back, which can be removed from its housing by loosening the bolts at the top and bottom. Insert the new shock absorber, secure it properly, and reinstall the corresponding wheel.
