If the remote for your Toyota Highlander (2008-2013) has suddenly stopped working and you want to learn how to replace the battery inside, follow these simple steps. First, remove the physical emergency key and use it to easily detach the back cover of the remote. Next, locate the battery situated just underneath and remove it as well (you can use a small flathead screwdriver to assist). Finally, insert the new CR1632 battery and reattach the back cover.
