DIY Air Conditioning Gas Recharge

If the air conditioning is activated and the air temperature coming from the vents is not cold enough, it is likely that there is insufficient gas in the system for the air conditioning to function correctly. It is advisable to have the system checked by a professional to rule out any leaks, recover residual gas, vacuum the system, and possibly flush the system while replacing the compressor oil. However, if you want to proceed quickly, you can purchase a can of refrigerant gas with the appropriate valve attachment, start the engine, activate the compressor, and press the lever on the can to allow the gas to enter.
