After opening the hood, locate the battery on the left side, then grab a wrench to remove the support nuts of the upper plate. Next, disconnect the negative terminal first and then the positive terminal, after which you can remove the battery from its housing and place the new one. Then reconnect the positive terminal first and then the negative terminal, and finally reattach the nuts securing the plate.
