To remove the carpet from a Toyota Corolla, first loosen the screws that secure the seats to their mounts. The seats must be completely removed, including disconnecting the connectors.

Next, remove the plastic trim surrounding the centre tunnel of the car. You can then begin to pry up the carpet at the base of the car using a suitable tool. The new replacement carpet can then be positioned, secured properly, and all removed components reinstalled.
