How to Replace the Clutch on a Toyota RAV4

To replace the clutch on a Toyota RAV4, lift the vehicle with a jack so that the front wheels are off the ground: this will allow you to loosen the bolts securing the transmission casing located on the side, below the engine block. Once the transmission casing has been completely removed, you will be able to locate the diaphragm spring and the clutch underneath: both components can now be removed from their housing and replaced with new spare parts.
