In this video, you can see where the starter motor is located in the Toyota Yaris and how to proceed if you need to replace it, a simple task that requires good manual skills. As shown, it is located at the lower part of the engine, next to the oil filter.

To access it, you will need to lift the front of the vehicle with a jack, taking all necessary safety precautions. Once this is done, you can disconnect the two power terminals, remove the mounting bolts, and separate it from the engine.

To fit the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
