Resetting the maintenance light on a 2005 Toyota Hi Lux is a very simple procedure that is done after performing regular maintenance. The first thing to do is to get into the vehicle and locate the button on the odometer display, above the steering wheel. Press and hold the button to turn on the instrument panel and wait for the reset procedure to load, a number should appear (in the case of the video, it is number 15). Press the same button repeatedly until it reaches number 10, then turn off the instrument panel. Finally, turn on the instrument panel again to verify that the light has been successfully reset.
