Resetting the service light on a 2005 Toyota HiLux is a straightforward procedure that is performed after completing the regular maintenance. First, get into the vehicle and locate the button on the display of the odometer, above the steering wheel. Press and hold the button while turning on the ignition and wait for the reset procedure to load; a number should appear, in this case, it is number 15. Press the same button repeatedly until you reach number 10, then turn off the ignition. Finally, turn the ignition back on to verify that the light has been successfully turned off.
