How to Change the Rear Bearing on a 2005 Toyota Yaris

Replacing the rear hub bearing is straightforward as the bearing is sold complete with the hub; therefore, lift the vehicle, remove the wheel and brake drum; then unscrew the four bolts that secure the rear flange of the hub to its support and extract it from its seat; insert the new hub complete with bearing, aligning the flange holes; then screw in the bolts applying thread lock and tightening them in a cross pattern, before proceeding in reverse order to reassemble the drum and rear wheel.
