Toyota Proace Verso - Video tutorial

Model: Toyota Proace Verso MK 1 - Years 2016-2023
Part: Bodywork
Operation: How to remove the door panel on a Toyota Proace.

In this video, we see how to remove the panel of a Toyota Proace door: we will need a tool for removing the upholstery and two screwdrivers, one size 30 and one size 20. The door panel is held together by 6 screws. The first one is located behind this plastic cover, and one under this cover with the buttons, two under the large door upholstery, one near the speaker grille, and one under the upholstery. All around the panel, there are plastic clips. We will start with the plastic spatula to remove the upholstery, starting from the top of the cover; we will then proceed with the actual panel, which, after removing the four screws, remember, also has a hook that keeps it in place. Start by removing the button panel. Then, entering through this opening, continue to remove screws and plastic clips, and by levering around the perimeter, continue to gently remove the clips until you feel that it is completely free. Lift it up, remove any connectors, and the job is done.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
