To replace the timing belt on a Toyota Yaris, open the bonnet and access the components located on the left side of the engine block. You will need to remove the corresponding protective panel to access the underlying components. The belt can be removed by loosening the central nut of the tensioner pulley, which will be accessible after removing the right front wheel and the corresponding wheel arch. Once the tension on the belt has been reduced, you can remove it and replace it with a new spare part.
