How to deactivate the passenger airbag on the Toyota Aygo?

Model: Toyota Aygo Ab40, MK 2 - Years 2014-2023

To deactivate the passenger airbag on the Toyota Aygo, open the glove compartment located on the front passenger side. Once opened, locate the lock at the top left that allows you to activate or deactivate the airbag. Use the ignition key to turn the lock from ON to OFF; this will also illuminate the corresponding warning light on the dashboard indicating the passenger airbag is deactivated. To reactivate it, simply turn the lock back.
