Why is the Cigarette Lighter Socket of the Toyota Verso Not Working?

If the cigarette lighter socket in your Toyota Verso has suddenly stopped working, first check the status of the relevant fuses, the location of which is indicated in this video. As shown, two of the fuses in question are located in the box inside the cabin, at the lower left of the dashboard, and are labelled F4 and F24. The third and final fuse is located in the box positioned inside the engine compartment, near the battery, and is labelled F50. Ensure you replace any blown fuses with replacements of equivalent specifications.
