Engine Maintenance Using Additives for Toyota Rav4

When performing a full service, using special additives can effectively restore and improve certain operating parameters, such as the compression ratio. Start by adding an engine cleaner through the oil filler cap, then run the engine at idle for a while before draining the oil through the designated drain plug under the sump. Once the oil has drained and the oil filter cartridge and seals have been replaced, first add an anti-friction additive, then fill the engine with new oil until the maximum level is reached. Next, replace the fuel filter by filling the new filter with a specific additive, replace the engine air filter while cleaning the mass air sensor, and complete the maintenance by adding another additive to the fuel tank.
