How to adjust the beam of light on a vehicle

In this video we will see how to properly align the headlights: first of all, to make the adjustment we must be on a flat surface, then keep the vehicle at its normal load; check the tire pressure so that they are properly adjusted. Also, the lamps must be in good condition and installed correctly (some regulations in use in the United States are mentioned). We must park the car 25' from the wall (7.62 meters), then mark the central point of the light beam. The optical center should be marked, inside the headlight, by a small circle; we will then check the lights in relation to the reference line and, if necessary, we will adjust the driver's side headlight group so that the demarcation line touches the horizontal reference line. If necessary, we will also adjust the passenger side headlight: by turning the screw clockwise we will raise the beam, turning it counterclockwise we will lower it. Usually the aiming measurements are indicated in the owner's manual of our vehicle.
