How does the direct tire pressure monitoring system work?

In this video, we are explained how the direct tire pressure monitoring system works: there are four sensors, each placed inside a tire, which are connected to a control unit, which in turn communicates with a warning light or with a dashboard that indicates the pressure of each tire. The TPMS sensor installed inside each wheel reads the tire pressure and temperature, transmits it to the control unit - which is usually installed near the right rear wheel - which, after processing it, transmits it to the dashboard. If it is a simpler car, the dashboard will only light up a warning light; a more sophisticated car will indicate the pressure of all four wheels, thus indicating which one needs to be inflated.
