How to replace a blown fuse in a car

In this short video, we see how to replace a blown fuse in our car: the fuse extraction tool is usually found in the fuse box itself. We identify the problem using our car's manual and locate the box. We turn off the engine and remove the key from the ignition. We open the cover; a mirrored diagram is often printed on the back. Having identified the faulty fuse with the help of the diagram (and the user and maintenance manual), we use the tool and extract the transparent fuse. If the filament is intact, then we need to look for the problem elsewhere. If it is blown (sometimes the plastic turns black), we replace it with one of the same amperage, never with one of a higher value, which could cause severe damage. We insert the new fuse, close the box, and check. If the fuse blows immediately, then there is a more serious electrical fault in the system.
