What should you do if the ABS/ESC warning light comes on while driving, without any adverse road conditions? First, remain calm: the issue may be temporary and easily resolved, but do not ignore it. The most common cause is a dirty or damaged speed sensor. There is a small sensor near the brake disc. If it is dirty with dirt or rust, gently clean it. Check the connector; disconnect it and reconnect it to ensure a good contact. Verify the brake fluid level. If it is at the minimum, top up the fluid and schedule a visit to the mechanic to check the condition of the brake pads. Also, check the fuse box for the status of the fuse dedicated to the ABS/ESC. If these checks do not resolve the issue, drive cautiously, avoiding sudden maneuvers, and take the car to a garage for an electronic diagnosis.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y

To open the bonnet on this vehicle, follow these simple instructions: first, open the driver's door and locate the lever positioned just below the dashboard, marked with an image of the vehicle with the bonnet open. Pull this lever towards you until you hear a "click" indicating the bonnet is released. Next, exit the cabin and stand in front of the bonnet to disengage the safety catch and complete the opening.
