This guide explains what the battery warning light means: the light depicting the battery does not simply indicate that the battery is flat, but signals a charging problem: essentially, the car is telling you that the alternator is not charging the battery.

The alternator is the component that, when the engine is running, produces electrical energy to power the car's systems and recharge the battery.

The battery is merely an energy reservoir: it provides the discharge to start the engine and powers electrical equipment when the engine is off. The light comes on when the alternator is not functioning correctly, and the car runs solely on the battery, which, if not recharged, will be completely flat in a few minutes.

How to reset the tyre pressure warning light on the Kia Niro EV?

To reset the tyre pressure warning light on the Kia Niro EV, inflate the tyres until they reach the correct pressure value. This value is indicated on the sticker attached to the driver's door pillar. Once the tyres are inflated, turn on the instrument cluster to check that the warning light has completely disappeared from the display. If it is still present, you may need to drive for a few miles to ensure it disappears completely from the screen.
