Engine Oil Replacement for Your Car

Do you want to service your car? Let’s look at the oil and filter replacement. Lift the front bonnet of the car and secure it, then locate the oil filter (if present in the engine bay). Unscrew the filter located in the engine bay or underneath the vehicle, then raise the vehicle. Lift the car on a column lift or jack, unscrew the bolt of the oil sump with a socket spanner (after removing the plastic protective panel), allow the fluid to drain into a disposal container and refit the sump bolt. After removing the oil from the engine, fill the sump with new engine oil.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
