How to Remove the Horns of the Cacson

The vehicle is equipped with a horn system, consisting of two horns of different tones: one high tone and the other low tone. The two horns are activated simultaneously. The horns are operated by pressing the side areas of the steering wheel cover (around the airbag). The horn circuit is protected by a specific fuse and controlled by a specific relay, located in the engine compartment fuse box. For safety reasons, the horns can be activated at any time, even with the key in the OFF position. To remove the horn assembly, you need to remove the right wheel, the dust cover, and the wheel arch liner; the assembly is located behind the right headlamp, visible only from the wheel arch, with the two horns secured by a support and a screw to the right chassis rail.
