How to Replace the Battery on a Yamaha Xmax

To change the battery on the Yamaha Xmax, start by opening the front panel. Use a screwdriver to remove the 2 screws securing the cover. Once the cover is off, use an Allen key to remove the screw holding the battery clamp. After removing the battery clamp, take out the battery and unscrew the battery terminals. Take the new battery, screw in the terminals as they were on the old battery, place the battery back in its compartment, refit the battery clamp by tightening the screw with the Allen key, replace the cover by screwing in the 2 screws with a screwdriver, and finally close the front panel. Now you can test the new battery.
