Changing the Lock Cylinder on a Camper

If you need to replace the lock (cylinder) for the door of a camper, proceed as follows: take the opening key and turn the cylinder fully counterclockwise. Then, take a paperclip and insert it in place of the key, using it to lever out the cylinder slowly. At this point, take the new cylinder and insert the key into it, then insert the cylinder into the lock until it is fully seated. Proceed to turn the key to remove it, and the lock change will be complete.
