How to understand the wear of the clutch of your car? If the clutch "jerks" at the start, then it means that the clutch is worn, it no longer fits well with the flywheel. Let's see another symptom: if you're driving in the city and you've been in a queue for a while and you feel pain in your foot or leg, it means that the clutch is hard, that you have to make a lot of effort to keep it pressed. Yet; try squeezing the clutch with the car off. If it rides smoothly then it's ok, if you squeeze it and it comes back to flat, or jerky then it's worn out. Other proof; when you're on the road in fourth gear at about 2500 rpm, you accelerate, you just squeeze the clutch: if the engine immediately drops in revs, the clutch is good. If the engine keeps revving up and then returns to normal, the clutch is worn out.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHandbrake adjustment on Ford EcosportFirst remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base. by ScegliAuto More videos
