How to Disable Start-Stop on a Vehicle

The start-stop system detects when the car stops and determines, using its sensors, a series of other factors related to the operational status of the vehicle. If the driver stops at a traffic light and puts the gearbox in neutral, the start-stop system shuts off the engine. On the dashboard of vehicles equipped with this system, there is a control marked with the symbol of an 'A' inside a circle with 'off' written underneath. To disable this system, press this button, which is useful to do when the battery is low. By default, the system is active.
