How to Remove the Stator from the Scooter

The stator's task is to convert the engine's mechanical energy into electricity. Before purchasing a new stator, ensure that the old one is indeed faulty. First, remove the footrest using a screwdriver to unscrew the screws. Next, remove the exhaust. On this type of scooter, the stator is located behind the water pump, so you will need to remove that as well. Connect a hose to drain the cooling circuit, then disconnect the connector that is part of the stator. Now, also remove the pump by unscrewing the four bolts that hold it in place. Before removing the flywheel, under which the stator is located, it is advisable to mark a reference point with a marker, and do the same on the pump pulley. Now, unscrew the flywheel nut as shown in the video. Once the flywheel is removed, you can take out the stator.
