Checking the engine oil of your car is very simple, but there are precautions to follow, especially after prolonged stops. Open the bonnet and lift the dipstick to check the amount of oil present. Perform this operation first when the engine is cold and then with the engine off to verify the levels accurately. The correct oil level should be between the minimum and maximum marks. If the oil is not within this range, you will need to top up the oil; each car model has a specific amount of litres to add. It is important to not only top up the oil but also to add a lubricant.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after.
