The TPMS light illuminates on a vehicle when the tyre pressure no longer meets the manufacturer's specifications. This yellow light is usually not concerning, but you must adjust the pressure as soon as possible to avoid damaging the car's wheels. After inflating the tyres to the manufacturer's recommended pressure, which is indicated on stickers on the sides of the car doors, proceed to reset the light. On some vehicles, it is necessary to start the engine and rev it, or drive a few miles. On other vehicles, the reset is manual and must be performed through the settings menu; where you will need to select the option corresponding to tyre pressure, set the values, and confirm the reset.
