Operation: Knowing how to choose between LED headlights and halogen headlights.

In this video, we can see the fundamental differences between LED and halogen headlights, so that we can make an informed decision, considering that it is an accessory that significantly affects the final price of a car. Halogen bulbs have a lifespan of approximately 1,500 operating hours, while LEDs have a variable lifespan ranging from 25,000 to 50,000 hours. LEDs also have nearly triple the brightness efficiency and a color temperature that is more than twice as clear. Additionally, LEDs have a wider beam of light, allowing for better visibility of the road edges. As for the taillights, they illuminate almost immediately when braking and are much brighter, making them safer. Undoubtedly, the future lies in LEDs, both due to their effectiveness and the freedom they provide to designers, adapting to any idea. The lifespan of LED bulbs is infinitely longer, and they consume less energy, putting less strain on the battery and extending its life. Certainly, if you mainly drive in the city, these characteristics may be less important, and you can save yourself the significant price difference.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
