Where is the central locking fuse located in the Volkswagen Golf?

The central locking fuse for the Volkswagen Golf is located in the fuse box on the left side of the dashboard: to access it, remove the protective cover and locate the fuse in the third row of fuses from the front of the car. The central locking fuse is a 20 Amp fuse and should be replaced with one of the same amperage; once the new fuse is installed, check that the central locking functions correctly and then reattach the fuse box cover.
