To replace the timing belt on the Volkswagen Caddy, first loosen the bolts securing the front right wheel of the vehicle and remove it along with the corresponding wheel arch liner. Once this is removed, you can locate the nut that secures the tensioner pulley underneath.

This pulley can then be removed from its seat, reducing the tension on the belt and completely sliding out the old belt. After removal, insert the new belt, ensuring it is tensioned correctly and checking that everything functions properly.
