Today, learn how to replace the timing belt of the Volkswagen Caddy. To perform this operation, open the front bonnet and remove the screw that secures the timing belt cover located at the side of the engine.

After removing the cover, take off the right front wheel and lift the vehicle. Now, remove the service pulley from the crankshaft, also remove the small cover, and check that the pulleys are in good condition for reuse.

Lock the valves and position the small cover at phase 1 to remove the timing belt. Slide off the old belt and install the new one after oiling it. Refit the pulley and close the timing belt cover.
