How to replace the serpentine belt on the Volkswagen Touran 1

In this video we see how to replace the service belt on the Volkswagen Touran 1: first of all, let's get the belt that we can easily find for less than 10 euros on any auto parts website. We do not give instructions because, being an internal replacement, it is better to introduce the car's chassis or plate to be sure of compatibility: so we open the hood and with a 15 combined key we pull the belt tensioner pulley sideways, then we lift the car with a jack and support it on stands for better grip. From below we can remove the service belt, and check the condition of the tensioner pulley and the idle pulley, which should be replaced if necessary. We install the new belt making it adhere well to the pulleys. We lower the car and return the tensioner pulley to its initial position, then run the engine for a few minutes to make sure everything is working correctly.
