Air filter replacement for the Volkswagen Touran MK2

Replacing the air filter at the scheduled maintenance intervals of the Volkswagen Touran MK2 allows the engine to "breathe" better and keep fuel consumption under control. To perform the replacement, open the hood of the engine compartment, locate the filter box between the front end and the battery. Unscrew the eight screws that secure the cover with a crosshead screwdriver and remove it, remove the old filter, clean the housing with a blast of air, insert the new filter element making sure the rubber edges adhere well. Close the cover and secure it with its screws.
