Replace the air filter on your Volkswagen Touran MK2 according to the maintenance schedule to help the engine "breathe" better and keep fuel consumption in check. To perform the replacement, open the bonnet; you will find the filter box between the front and the battery.

Use a cross-head screwdriver to remove the eight screws securing the cover and take it off, then remove the old filter, clean the housing with an air blast, and insert the new filter, ensuring the rubber edges fit well. Reattach the cover and secure it with the screws.
