How to remove the door panel of a Volkswagen up?

To disassemble the door panel of our Volkswagen up!, start by opening the front door. Take a flathead screwdriver and carefully begin to remove the panel around the door handle. Now, locate the screw behind the panel and unscrew it. Then, using a panel tool, pry on the edges of the door panel to release it from the bodywork. Be careful not to damage the panel or internal components. Once released, lift the panel upwards and be mindful of the electrical connectors. Now, the panel is ready to be completely removed and work inside the door.
