How to replace the ventilation knobs on a Volkswagen Polo? Let's see how to proceed in this video. We remove the ventilation knobs with our hands or with pliers (if they don't come off easily). We disconnect the bezels of the air conditioning controls with a screwdriver (by levering), then, we extract the parts from the instrument panel as in the video. We are careful not to break the plastic tabs that block the frames. After removing the knobs from the dashboard, we replace the knobs with new ones. Finally we reassemble all the pieces by proceeding backwards in the operations.
