In the Volkswagen Golf, the procedure to disable the alarm involves connecting a diagnostic tool to the vehicle's OBD port: in this type of vehicle, the port will be located at the lower left of the dashboard relative to the steering column. Once the scanner is connected, you can select the model of the car in question and its corresponding version: you will then be able to select all the options indicating the alarm's operation and disable them.
