In this video, see what to do when the heating radiator of the Volkswagen Tiguan (also applicable to Golf, Audi A3, and other group vehicles) gets clogged, causing the vehicle's temperature to rise and coolant to leak. A large amount of dirt accumulates in the radiator, as seen from the drain tank; naturally, this dirt is present throughout the vehicle's cooling circuit.

Other reasons include what we see in the air conditioning radiator, which has more than half of its fins broken or bent: air cannot pass through, logically causing overheating. Additionally, with the fan running continuously due to high temperatures, the radiator collects a significant amount of dirt, which clogs it and prevents it from functioning at all. Therefore, before replacing the heating radiator, perform this series of checks; otherwise, you will waste your money.

You should also check the valves inside the hoses, which in this case are full of rust.
