Activating and deactivating the traction control system or ESP light on a Volkswagen Golf mk8 model vehicle is a very simple and quick operation to perform independently with just a few minutes of your time. To activate the system, you will need to turn on the vehicle's instrument panel and onboard computer.

From the onboard computer, select the "VEHICLE" option and then rotate the 3D drawing of the vehicle to select the "BRAKE" option. From the menu that appears in front of us, select the "ESP ON" option.

To deactivate, select the "ESP OFF" option, or you can also activate and deactivate the "ESP SPORT" option from the same menu.
