How to change the air filter on the Polo 5 1.4 TDi

In this article we will see how to replace the air filter of the Volkswagen Polo 5 1.4 TDi. For this procedure you will need a Torx T20 key. First, you need to disconnect the tube on the left of the filter that does not have screws, then remove the tube that passes over the radiator in the front of the filter. Next, disconnect the mass airflow sensor connector and lift the filter housing by removing it from the clips. Then, unscrew the 9 Torx screws that secure the filter cover, open the filter housing, remove the two filter securing screws and remove the filter. Close the filter housing, tighten the screws, put the filter housing back in place and reconnect all components.
